Elena Vassilieva in conversation with Carlos García Estévez

Opera singer and specialist in modern music, Elena Vassilieva talks about her experience working with Carlos García Estévez and Paige Allerton after participating in Manifesto Poetico’s Open Laboratory, SPATIAL DRAMATUGY & THE FOUR DIMENSIONS in Paris, July 2019.

Elena reflects on the world of Opera, Carlos and Paige's innovative ways of working and what could be a future for performance.

Elena first worked with Carlos in 2010 when they shared the stage for the world premiere of Alexander Raskatov new opera, A Dog’s Heart. Elena, Carlos, Paige and Alexander Raskatov are planning a new collaboration, a three-part Opera based on Bosch's painting, The Garden of Earthly Delights.
