THE LABORATORY

Manifesto Poetico proposes periods of fundamental research called Open Laboratories. This is when Manifesto Poetico opens its doors to new applicants wanting to become participating artists in our research and training activities.

Manifesto Poetico’s Open Laboratories welcome all genres of artists (painters, sculptors, architects, designers, musicians, actors, dancers, puppeteers, directors, dramaturges, writers etc.). The Open Laboratories are designed for advanced students and professional artists, however beginners are welcome to apply.

Manifesto Poetico also accepts commissions for Open Laboratories when a particular institution would like to invite Manifesto Poetico to direct a research period with a local group or company of artists.

Each Open Laboratory has had a different subject, for example: Spatial Dramaturgy & The Four Dimensions, Spatial Dramaturgy: Three-Dimensional Awareness; Mask 3D; Clown: Theatrical Architecture and more…
