Laboratory Commissioned for Opera Singers by Nuremberg University of Music
Artistic Directors Carlos García Estévez and Paige Allerton will be working with opera singers from the Nuremberg University of Music.
Manifesto Poetico is honoured to have been invited by the renowned opera singer Iride Martínez.
This Commissioned Laboratory will be dedicate to explore the different elements that articulate the necessary acting skills to engage and embody opera on stage, from classic to contemporary music.
The use of the mask will be the point of departure in a process to understand form, towards transformation and singing character.
Together with the Juilliard School in New York and the State Theatre of Nuremberg; Nuremberg University of Music runs one of the world’s most acclaimed International Opera Studios.
