ACTION ENFANCE SENEGAL

HISTORY:

ACTION ENFANCE SENEGAL is an organization created by former national commissioners of the countrywide movement of pioneers and monitors of educational communities, who had the ambition to take on the challenge of changing the lives of children in difficult situations.  Their aim was to make the country evolve with the empowerment of children.  It was created on August 28, 1994 on the Champ des Courses school grounds in Dakar. The organization received official acknowledgment January 10, 1996.

OBJECTIVES:

Promote the rights of the child

Assist the deprived and struggling child

Offer children and adolescents quality recreation

Fight against the illiteracy of children

Help children to take charge of their own destiny

MISSION:

ACTION ENFANCE SENEGAL is a social and progressive association, working for the promotion and protection of the rights of the child. It brings together adults, young people and children, driven by the ideal of a better future, raising the consciousness of its members from the intellectual, social and political point of view.
